Ingrid Pleschberger (born 1988 in Villach) holds a Bachelor degree in History of Art and in Comparative Literature from the University of Vienna and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. During her studies she focused on photography and film as well as East-Asian Art and the phenomenon of unreliable narration. She worked for several museums and cultural institutions in Vienna like Haus der Musik and Österreichische Galerie Belvedere as well as the Kerstin Engholm Gallery and Theater am Spittelberg. In addition to that she worked for the high quality Austrian newspaper Die Presse where she was responsible for recommendations of cultural events in the event calendar of the weekly magazine Schaufenster. Besides studying Cognitive Science at the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna since 2014 she works also full time for the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics of the University of Vienna as International Exchange Coordinator. For this work she was awarded Erasmus+ Ambassador in the field of higher education in the year 2015 by the OEAD.

Her last research project in the field of Cognitive Science tackled the question how technology can scaffold and support reflection processes in the field of psychotherapy training. Currently she is researching at the neurological clinic in Ljubljana about different treatment methods of depression combining first person and third person perspectives within the field of neurophenomenology.

She is a member of the Orchestra of the Technical University of Vienna and the Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana where she plays the violin.
